PODCAST CO-HOST VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Beyond the Walls | OrHaCare
OrHaCare is looking for a medical/healthcare professional to join Beyond the Walls as a volunteer Podcast Co-Host.
Beyond the Walls is OrHaCare’s knowledge and community-engagement platform, created to bring reliable health information, professional expertise and meaningful conversations beyond hospitals and into communities.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
• Lives in Kampala, Uganda.
• Has a medical or healthcare background — e.g. Medical Doctor, Clinical Officer, Nurse, Midwife, Pharmacist, Public Health Professional, Allied Health Professional, or another relevant healthcare field.
• Communicates confidently and naturally.
• Is comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with guests and communities.
• Has a genuine interest in health education and community health.
• Is curious, professional and willing to learn.
• Can ask thoughtful questions and make health information easy for the public to understand.
• Is willing to volunteer their time and grow with the program.
• Can commit to at least two Saturdays every month for recordings, community engagements and related activities.
Previous podcast, media or public-speaking experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
