WHO THIS IS FOR
This is probably for one of two people.
You've been in sales for years. You're good at it, and you're bored. You've sold someone else's product at someone else's margin for long enough, and you want a bigger piece of it and a real say in how it's done.
Or you've always wanted to build something from the ground up. You like the idea of being first in, writing the playbook, and hiring the people who work from it.
Either way, you're not chasing a salary. You want upside, and you want to build.
WHO WE ARE
Aporia Nous sells AI phone agents to local businesses: plumbers, HVAC, roofers, dentists, med spas, law firms. The agents answer calls and book jobs. The technology runs on Votel, a voice-AI platform we configure, connect and support. We did not build the platform.
We're new, and we have no clients yet. No case studies, no testimonials. We'd rather you hear that from us now than find out later.
WHY THE PAY IS UNUSUAL
This is commission only. No base, no salary, no guarantee. You're a 1099 contractor, and you're paid when the client pays.
In return, you keep 75% of the net setup fee on every client you close. That's not a typo. The usual rate for a closer is 10 to 20%. We're offering 75% because we're early and you're the one doing the closing.
The ongoing monthly subscription stays with the company. It covers the platform, client support and the leads, and it isn't shared.
One condition: the 75% depends on you also training and onboarding the reps we bring on. That's part of the job, not a favour.
WHAT A FIRST YEAR LOOKS LIKE
Commission only means the honest answer is "it depends on what you close." So here is what it looks like in practice, not a promise.
Three clients a month is about $67,000 over a year.
Six clients a month is about $135,000 over a year.
The first 90 days are a ramp and will be slower. No client is guaranteed, and neither is this income. It is an example, not a promise.
WHAT YOU'D DO
- Close. You work the roughly 26,000 leads we've already loaded, run a short honest demo, and ask for the sale. The call is yours from start to finish.
- Train and onboard new reps. As we add appointment setters, you take them through our training and get them producing.
- Help write the playbook. You're first in, so how you sell becomes how we sell.
WHAT YOU'D BE WORKING WITH
- A product that's already live, not an idea. It runs on Votel today.
- About 26,000 leads in the system, scored and ready.
- Training that's already built: twelve short videos, a written course and a playbook.
- A CRM, a booking calendar, and a builder who ships quickly.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL ROLE
- You've closed deals yourself. Not worked in sales, and not supported someone else's deals. Closed them.
- You can take us through one deal from start to finish, and tell us what you actually said.
- You have B2B or high-ticket experience: services, SaaS, agency, insurance, real estate, courses or coaching.
- You're fluent in English. Every call and all of our training is in English.
- You can teach, not just sell.
- You're comfortable being paid for results rather than hours.
- You're in the US and can work as a 1099 contractor.
- You can start this week.
