Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hairdresser role based in Entebbe. The Hairdresser will provide a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, and basic hair treatments for clients with diverse hair types and preferences. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable styles or treatments, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The role also involves managing appointment schedules, delivering consistent customer service, and following health and safety standards. The Hairdresser will collaborate with colleagues to support smooth daily operations and contribute to a welcoming environment for all clients.
Qualifications
• Strong practical skills in Hair Cutting and Hair Styling, with the ability to work with different hair types and styles.
• Knowledge of Hair Care techniques, including proper washing, treatment application, and maintenance routines.
• Foundational understanding of Cosmetology principles related to hair services and personal grooming.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional client interaction.
• Previous experience as a Hairdresser, stylist, or in a salon environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage multiple client appointments during the day.
• Attention to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in a salon or grooming setting.
• Willingness to learn new techniques, follow workplace guidelines, and contribute positively to the team.
