DEPARTMENT. SALES AND MARKETING
Role Description
The Sales Agent will identify and approach potential clients, present services related to business planning and advertising, and follow up to close sales. Daily tasks include conducting client meetings, explaining product and service offerings, preparing basic proposals or quotations, and maintaining accurate records of leads and sales activities. The role also involves delivering excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with team members to meet sales targets and support business development initiatives. The Sales Agent may participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques and represent the company at local events or client visits.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Insurance-related skills, with the ability to promote and explain relevant offerings.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to learn quickly and share knowledge with clients or colleagues.
• Candidates should have basic knowledge of business planning, advertising, or business development concepts.
• Candidates should demonstrate goal orientation, negotiation ability, and willingness to work on-site in Kampala.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial, as is prior experience in sales or client-facing roles.
