REPORT TO. INSURANCE AGENCY MANAGER
DEPARTMENT. SALES AND MARKETING
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Representative role based in Kampala. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, presenting agency services to prospective clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Daily tasks include conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals, supporting the execution of marketing and promotion campaigns, and tracking performance against targets. The Sales and Marketing Representative will collaborate with the marketing team to align sales activities with ongoing campaigns and provide feedback from the market to improve service offerings. The role also requires regular reporting on sales activities and participation in client training or product demonstrations as needed.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients professionally and build lasting relationships.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to drive revenue, meet targets, and support promotional initiatives.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to guide clients and team members on campaign execution, product knowledge, and service usage.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in advertising, marketing, or promotions, with familiarity in both digital and traditional channels.
• Candidates should have good organizational and time management abilities, with proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools.
• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is beneficial, along with prior experience in a client-facing sales role.
