Role Description The Barista role at Crafted Daily is a full-time, on-site position based in Entebbe. The Barista will prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes and quality guidelines. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, taking orders, processing payments, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized workstation. The Barista will also assist with basic food preparation, restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment is properly used and maintained. This role works as part of a team to provide a consistent, positive experience for every guest throughout their visit.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage warmly with guests and collaborate with team members.
• Barista skills, including espresso preparation, drink crafting, and basic coffee knowledge.
• Clear Communication skills for taking orders accurately and coordinating with colleagues.
• Food Preparation skills for handling ingredients safely and preparing simple menu items.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks safely and efficiently.
• Basic cash handling skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is an advantage but not required.
